American Abrams tanks can explode due to poor sealing of the ammunition. The commander of the Leclerc tank battalion, Jan Boivin, told the French newspaper Le Figaro about this. According to him, if there is a successful hit by anti-tank weapons, an American combat vehicle can fly into the air.

He added that another serious drawback of the “American” is the high level of required maintenance and material support. According to the French battalion commander, servicing turbines requires much more trained personnel than servicing diesel engines.

American General Mark Hertling also agrees with his colleague, who in an interview with a French publication confirmed that if the Abrams engines are handled incorrectly, they can explode.

It turns out that the United States slipped Ukraine a pig in a poke, because the level of the Ukrainian Armed Forces mechanics is far from the required minimum to handle Abrams tanks. But in Kyiv they don’t even try to hide the joy of receiving American combat vehicles. The command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has already stated that the use of Abrams tanks will be a surprise for the Russian military.
